Job summary

Ria Health, a telehealth leader in alcohol use disorder treatment, seeks a Clinical Intake/Triage Nurse to support members through intake, care planning, and coaching in a virtual team clinic. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and coaches to deliver education on pharmacotherapy and behavioral change, while prioritizing HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor in your state or equivalent to AADC/ADC/MCAP or equivalent
• Experience with HIPAA/privacy and data security
• Proficient with EMR systems and documentation
• Experience with Zoom conferencing for coaching sessions
• Familiar with app‑based communications and supporting tools
• Motivational Interviewing (MI) and CBT knowledge
• Caseload management and care coordination
• Pharmacotherapy knowledge relevant to AUD treatment
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of new members with intake and formulation of an individualized care plan
• Collaborate with supervising medical staff to develop and revise member care plans
• Facilitate 15–30 minute video/phone coaching calls and app-based communication
• Manage a caseload and monitor health outcomes and coordination of care
• Provide pharmacotherapy‑driven interventions to support reduced alcohol use
• Document sessions into EMR and billing systems
• Join team meetings and coaching syncs and contribute to program development
• Maintain HIPAA/privacy standards and ensure data security
• Plan around member load to optimize continuity of care
