Job summary

NCC’s Civil & Marine Division seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead civil construction and infrastructure projects across Alaska, including remote sites. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost, contracts, procurement, and client relationships, coordinating with marine operations and logistics teams to deliver projects efficiently.

The role emphasizes coordinating mobilization, logistics, and subcontractor management in demanding environments, with frequent travel to project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or preferred for consideration.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in construction, project management, or related operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with clients and teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project controls systems; ability to learn PM software.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and change management; ability to interpret contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual performance.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements.
• Review contracts and documents to identify requirements, risks, and changes; coordinate resources.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, safety, or client satisfaction.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain communications with clients, teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout meet standards and timelines.
