Job summary

Xebia is seeking Data Engineers with strong Apache Airflow experience to join a project focused on customer enablement and engineering for a managed Airflow platform. You will design, troubleshoot, and optimize DAGs, integrate Airflow with data platforms, and guide customers through production onboarding.

You will work with customer data engineering teams in a remote, distributed environment, delivering best-practice guidance and hands-on support while collaborating with an internal project

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Airflow: DAGs, scheduling, dependencies, and ops concepts.
• Professional Python experience and data engineering platform exposure.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, advisory, support, or enablement.
• Excellent troubleshooting in distributed production environments.
• Strong communication and customer empathy; ability to translate tech issues for non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Airflow configuration, DAG development, and troubleshooting for customers.
• Advise customers on best practices across tech stacks and data ecosystems.
• Help integrate Airflow with cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, and IaC (Terraform) workflows.
• Support initial platform adoption and production onboarding for clients.
• Deliver technical guidance, enablement, and knowledge sharing to customer teams.
• Collaborate with internal project owner on scope, priorities and delivery.
