Job summary

ZIVENTRA is actively seeking an experienced Data Engineer on a remote/Work-From-Home basis to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain production data pipelines, optimize Airflow DAGs, and manage Snowflake-based data warehouses.

The role requires 4+ years of data engineering experience, proficiency in Python or Java, and strong knowledge of batch and streaming data architectures. You will collaborate with software, product, and analytics teams while upholding data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE/Analytics or related field.
• 4+ years of production data engineering and pipeline development.
• Hands-on Airflow orchestration and DAG development.
• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing.
• Understanding of batch and streaming data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain robust, scalable production data pipelines for batch and streaming data.
• Orchestrate, monitor, and optimize complex Airflow DAGs for reliable data delivery.
• Administer, optimize, and scale Snowflake cloud data platforms.
• Develop data processing applications using Python or Java.
• Troubleshoot, performance tune, and root-cause data pipeline failures.
• Maintain data quality frameworks, lineage, and governance artifacts.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and core software teams.
• Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and cloud cost management.
