Job summary

Air National Guard Units in the District of Columbia region seeks an Aircraft Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot complex electrical and environmental systems on multiple aircraft types. The role requires DCANG membership and a Secret clearance, with duties that include wiring maintenance, component testing and system certification.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements, substitution allowed for specialized experience.
• Must meet military membership requirements and possess or be able to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes malfunctions and troubleshoots electrical, electronic and environmental subsystems.
• Maintains and tests electrical and environmental systems and related test equipment.
• Operates and interprets data from MAP, onboard computers and test equipment.
• Performs wiring maintenance and certifications to ensure airworthiness.
