Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Electrical Avionics Technician 3/4 to join our team at Whiteman AFB, MO. The role requires handling electrical wiring on aircraft and performing diagnostics in a classified environment.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain/retain a Secret Clearance and be willing to work in shifts and overtime as needed. Extensive physical work and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years electrical experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
• High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years electrical experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain final adjudicated Secret Clearance and any program access.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, and install electrical wiring or coaxial cable on aircraft.
• Check, test, troubleshoot electrical systems and repair/ reinstall wiring as needed.
• Read wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals.
