Job summary

Ultimate Knowledge Institute seeks an AI Workflow Engineer to architect our agentic SDLC and formalized pipelines where AI agents plan, build, test, review, and ship alongside a core team of senior US-based engineers.

This role emphasizes governance, guardrails, and feedback loops to deliver fast, reliable AI-enabled software while maintaining engineering excellence. This is a US-remote position empowering national cyber defense missions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building with AI/LLM systems in production settings.
• Designing and operating agentic workflows and pipelines including multi-step orchestration, tool use, governance.
• Experience embedded in modern development teams practicing GitOps and CI/CD (required).
• Knowledge of grounded AI patterns: RAG, context engineering, structured outputs, observability for LLMs.
• Strong software fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python; familiarity with Angular/React.”
• Alignment with continuous delivery culture and modern software delivery practices.
• Self-starter who acts to accelerate the team and shares results.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex AI architecture to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Build our agentic SDLC pipeline across planning, code generation, review, testing, documentation, and release integrated with GitOps/CI/CD.
• Improve developer experience with AI integrations, automated review, test generation, and self-service tooling.
• Design grounded, trustworthy AI systems with retrieval-grounding and verifiable results; create evaluation harnesses.
• Establish governance and guardrails: policies, human-in-the-loop checks, audit trails, and security controls.
• Formalize repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and internal platforms to scale agentic acceleration.
• Advocate for AI adoption and serve as a force multiplier across the team.
