Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will participate in live conversations with AI voice models, rank outputs, and explain what looks or sounds off, entirely remotely and on your schedule.

You will score image and video pairs for prompt fidelity and provide concise, evidence-based written explanations, helping shape AI systems that reason more accurately and perform better in real-world use cases.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when things are off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and explain realistic situations clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding live conversations with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zoom, replay) to spot distortions, motion issues, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs on dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a written explanation in English.
