Job summary

Riseup Labs is seeking mid-level to senior software engineers to develop AI-driven agents and features in a remote setting. You will work on the agent architecture, ship AI-powered capabilities to production, and collaborate with a North American team while maintaining a strong backlog velocity.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Node.js/TypeScript, React and cloud services, plus familiar infra tooling. Educational requirements include a B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Mid-level to senior software engineer with AI-focused experience.
• Experience building within an agent architecture and deploying AI-powered features.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with React, Tailwind, GraphQL, AWS, Postgres and DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features within the existing agent architecture and AI SDLC.
• Use AI to create and maintain agents and skills to speed up backlog delivery.
• Run agent swarms as part of daily engineering work.
• Ship AI-powered and agentic features to production across landing page and CRM platforms.
• Deliver output well above the current pace.
• Flag, fix or log issues and tech debt discovered during work.
• Bring ideas and problem-solving approaches while respecting existing architecture.
