Job summary

Arva Intelligence, a Houston-based ML software SaaS company, seeks an AI Software Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-enabled services at the core of the Arva platform. This hands-on role ships production code and applies modern AI techniques where accuracy matters.

Design and productionize LLM-powered workflows with LangGraph and LangChain, develop back-end APIs in Django with PostGIS, and implement front-end features in TypeScript and Vue.js.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience building production systems.
• Strong Python proficiency with modern frameworks, testing, and packaging.
• Experience deploying ML/LLM-based applications in production.
• SQL knowledge with schema design and performant queries.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain LLM-powered workflows using LangGraph/LangChain and AWS Bedrock; tool use, retrieval, memory, orchestration, and multi-step reasoning pipelines.
• Develop and productionize AI/ML services in Python, including MoE architectures for routing and ensemble prediction.
• Build backend services and APIs in Django, with PostgreSQL (PostGIS) as the data layer.
• Implement frontend features and tooling in TypeScript and Vue.js to expose AI capabilities and analytics.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines for geospatial, agronomic, imagery, and third-party data.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external partner/customer APIs, including auth, rate limits, schema mapping, error handling, monitoring.
• Deploy, scale, and operate services on AWS using serverless and managed offerings.
• Design QA/QC processes for software, data, and model outputs; ensure auditability.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation; collaborate with stakeholders.
