Job summary

CBIZ is seeking an AI Solution Architect to design scalable, secure AI solutions aligned with client needs and regulatory expectations. You will lead architecture across AI initiatives, translating business requirements into technical designs and guiding implementation with engineering and governance teams.

The role focuses on end-to-end AI architectures, tool evaluation, and building governance while ensuring compliance, security, and scalable operations across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Experience designing AI, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, data architecture, APIs, integration patterns, and secure solution design.
• Experience establishing architecture standards, reference patterns, and technical governance practices.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, model risk, privacy, and regulatory compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solution architectures, including data, model, application, integration, and security considerations.
• Provide expert technical leadership across AI initiatives to ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and supportability.
• Evaluate tools, platforms, and patterns to recommend effective and compliant AI solution approaches.
• Lead and coordinate the technical activities of others, ensuring alignment between architecture, implementation, and operational requirements.
• Document architecture decisions, standards, policies, and procedures to support consistency and governance.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Support deployment planning, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement of AI solutions.
