Job summary

Gainwell Technologies LLC seeks aSeniorAdvisor Application Developer – AI Software Engineer to design, modernize, and support large-scale healthcare apps. You will lead with Java, JavaScript, and SQL on AWS RDS, optimizing performance and integrations, while leveraging AI models and GitHub Copilot for coding, testing, and refactoring.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, REST/SOAP APIs, HL7 interfaces, and enterprise-scale architecture.

Qualifications

Ten or more years of application development or software engineering experience.
Advanced hands-on expertise in Java and JavaScript, including REST/SOAP APIs, application design, testing, debugging, and modern development practices.
Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, AWS RDS, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and modernize enterprise-scale Java, JavaScript, and database-driven healthcare applications.
Develop and optimize complex SQL and AWS RDS solutions, including query tuning, indexing, execution-plan analysis, and performance analysis.
Apply GitHub Copilot and AI models across coding, testing, refactoring, debugging, documentation, and technical analysis.
Provide technical leadership through solution design, peer reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices.
Develops and supports REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and HL7 interfaces.
Ensure AI-generated solutions are reviewed, tested, secured, and validated before implementation.
