Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Security Engineer to own the security posture of environments where AI-cyber capabilities are built, tested, and delivered. You will be embedded with software engineers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability researchers to harden infrastructure, supply chains, and pipelines while guiding secure development.

The role focuses on guiding build integrity, threat modeling, and continuous ATO workflows, leveraging Python, robust API integrations, and AI/LLM orchestration to scale

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience securing and hardening Linux systems at OS and network layers.
• Expertise in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Working knowledge of network protocols, cryptographic fundamentals, and key management.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and containerization (Ansible/Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience administering or securing a CI/CD system (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture of environments where AI-cyber capabilities are built, tested, and delivered.
• Embed with software engineers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability researchers to harden infrastructure, supply chains, and pipelines.
• Guide secure development and evolution of vulnerability tooling; maintain tool security posture leveraging continuous ATO workflows and pipelines.
