Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Work from home or while traveling, with flexible hours and weekly payments. Rates vary by expertise and project needs, and you will have access to leading LLMs for your work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Attention to detail with patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic scenarios in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing brief, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking natural, useful, and clear outputs.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos to judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video misalignment.
• Writing a concise English explanation detailing observations for each task.
• Engaging with common tasks such as evaluating images, videos, captions, and audio quality.
