Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media, holding live conversations with AI voice models and scoring exchanges. You will compare image and video pairs, explain what’s off, and work remotely on your own schedule.

Contributors review AI outputs and provide written explanations, helping shape how advanced AI systems reason and perform in the real world. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to listen closely and replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing AI-generated image/video pairs and judging which follows prompts more closely.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio and video.
• Writing a concise, English explanation that points to what was observed or heard.
