Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media remotely and on your own schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off.

Responsibilities include comparing AI-generated images and videos to prompts, and rating outputs across adherence, quality, and realism. Prior experience writing concise explanations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations naturally.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation of what you saw or heard.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same prompt and pick the better one based on instruction adherence and quality.
• Video evaluations: rank AI-generated videos against a text prompt or edited versions against source.
• Video caption labeling: label first-person videos and craft precise captions from a draft.
• Audio/voice evaluations: rate AI-generated speech on naturalness and voice match.
