Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, English-speaking evaluators to review AI-generated media from the comfort of a remote setup. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and describe in writing what’s off, helping to improve AI systems.

The role is remote with flexible hours and a pay rate up to $15 per hour, plus incentives. You’ll gain access to leading LLMs and work from anywhere on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail, with patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above is preferred.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations in conversation.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural and helpful each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zoom/replay) to spot problems like distorted motion, text errors, or audio-video mismatch.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, realism and writing a specific explanation in English.
