Job summary

Outlier invites detail-oriented reviewers to rate AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked off. This remote, flexible role pays up to $15/hr on a freelance 1099 basis, with weekly payments and access to leading LLMs.

Ideal candidates have strong English, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to articulate concise judgments about prompts and outputs. Global applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication and comfort with everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic situations in natural conversation.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and useful each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
