Job summary

Outlier is inviting detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of a remote setup. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated media, and explain what looks or sounds off, all on a flexible schedule.

Experience with clear written explanations is valued, and applicants from multiple countries can participate. This freelance role offers pay up to $15 USD per hour plus incentives and weekly payments, with access to leading LLM tools.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and careful review of outputs.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and explain realistic scenarios in natural conversation.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt more closely.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, and writing a concise explanation in English.
• Engaging in tasks like image evaluations, video evaluations, caption labeling, and audio/voice evaluations as part of the review process.
