Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Through Outlier's evaluation process, your feedback helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve. You will rate outputs and write explanations in clear English, with a freelance, contract-based setup and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail; able to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise explanation in English detailing observations.
