Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, score interactions, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As part of Outlier’s evaluation process, you’ll help shape AI systems by detailing issues and providing clear, evidence-based feedback. This is a freelance 1099 contract opportunity with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to review outputs closely.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Clear decision-making when multiple options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models in English.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each interaction sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated image/video pairs and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot distortions, flicker, or audio-video misalignment.
• Writing explanations in English pointing to what was observed.
