Outlier is seeking detail-oriented evaluators to review AI-generated media and conduct live conversations with AI voice models from home on a flexible schedule. You'll compare images, videos, and captions, then explain what looked off and why, helping steer frontier AI research toward real-world reliability.

The role emphasizes clear written explanations, strong English communication, and careful attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to look and listen closely.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to think on your feet and explain your decisions clearly when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
