The role emphasizes defining quality gates, surfacing risks early, and coaching others to raise the quality bar across distributed teams. A strong AI mindset is required for faster test design and evaluation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Quality Engineering / QA experience in modern software products, with depth in manual and automation.
• 2+ years leading a QA effort or a team, owning the quality objective.
• 5+ years designing test cases, plans, and strategies for non-trivial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured exploratory sessions guided by risk and user personas.
• Define test strategies based on risk, release goals, and business impact.
• Own defect triage, reporting, and release readiness.
• Guide automation strategy and keep flakiness under control as a team metric.
• Coach teammates to challenge unclear requirements and improve quality culture.
