Job summary

Arionkoder is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to own end-to-end quality across core product teams, shaping test coverage and acceptance criteria. The role emphasizes an AI-first approach to design, automate, and report quality metrics while collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and DevOps.

You will challenge unclear requirements, drive risk-based testing, and act as a quality advocate to reduce surprises in production and accelerate safe releases in a fully remote,

Qualifications

• Experience in modern software products with both manual and automated testing.
• Ability to design test cases, plans, and strategies for complex systems.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites in production CI environments.
• Strong UI automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium) and API testing approaches.
• Working knowledge of test case management and bug tracking tools.
• CI/CD fluency: wiring tests into pipelines and understanding quality gates and reporting.
• Fundamentals of risk-based, boundary, equivalence, and exploratory testing.
• Ability to define quality gates and perform release readiness checks.
• Excellent written and spoken English; experience with remote teams.
• Senior judgment to operate autonomously and challenge unclear requirements.
• AI-first working style with daily use of AI tools for test design and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality for scope; define risk-based test strategies and surface ambiguity early.
• Run manual QA and Exploratory testing guided by risk and user personas.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases covering happy paths, edges, and non-functional risks.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated UI, API, and integration tests.
• Triage defects, track to resolution, and produce concise release-quality reports.
• Define and enforce quality gates for staging, UAT, and production; support DevOps with hotfixes.
