Job summary

Fortress Information Security is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer in Orlando (hybrid remote) to rapidly prototype AI-enabled tools and workflows. You will turn urgent customer and internal problems into working demos using platforms like Lovable, Claude, Retool, and similar low-code tools.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in related fields, can integrate APIs and data sources, and are eligible for a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to build AI-enabled apps with AI-assisted and low-code platforms.
• Experience connecting prototypes to real data via APIs and integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for demos to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to learn Fortress platform capabilities and cybersecurity concepts.
• Eligible for a U.S. security clearance and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly build working prototypes of AI-enabled tools and workflows.
• Turn loosely defined problems into demos and proofs of concept.
• Build internal tooling and dashboards to reduce manual effort.
• Connect prototypes to real data via APIs and data sources.
• Demo prototypes to stakeholders and customers; iterate with feedback.
• Document builds and hand off validated concepts with clear requirements.
• Follow responsible development practices and use of AI tools.
• Pair with senior engineers to grow technical depth and customer-facing skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
