Job summary

Nearly Human Government Solutions is building a small, elite engineering team to ship production AI systems for U.S. defense environments. You’ll own end‑to‑end problems, turn real customer workflows into usable AI apps, and ship frequent, small iterations from user problems rather than detailed specs.

We value engineers who use coding agents, integrate AI with enterprise systems, and own what they ship after launch. Remote in the U.S.; eligibility for security clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Built and shipped complete products, ideally in small teams.
• Created AI applications used by real users.
• Extensively used AI coding tools and validated outputs.
• Experience across frontend, backend, data, deployment.
• Debugged production problems and made pragmatic decisions.
• Know when to cut scope to ship faster.

Responsibilities

• Turn real customer workflows into production AI apps.
• Ship iteratively based on usage feedback.
• Integrate LLMs, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Build evaluations, logging, and error handling for reliability.
• Own what you ship after launch.
