Job summary

Camunda is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to bring ProcessOS into production for enterprise customers. You will own the deployment journey from initial process files to living, improving systems, collaborating with a global team to measure, improve, and scale distributed systems.

The role covers end-to-end work across Java services and React interfaces, with opportunities to shape the product and practices from day one. Remote-friendly, with multiple regional compensation and equity options.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production software at scale within a large organization.
• Ability to debug complex integrations, build custom agents, and stand up clusters from scratch.
• Strong communication across engineering, architecture, and business leadership.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to production problems, including context management and testing.
• Comfort making sound judgments in ambiguous situations and documenting learnings.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and prove end-to-end deployment from first process file to a running production workflow.
• Contribute to product development by building features, agents, and skill files with customer feedback.
• Drive adoption across technical and business stakeholders to turn deployments into lasting capability.
• Configure Camunda clusters, diagnose integration failures, and tailor agents for diverse platforms.
• Document best practices and hand off trained, autonomous customer teams.
