Job summary

Camunda is hiring for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bring ProcessOS into production at enterprise customers. You’ll own the deployment journey from first process file to a working, improving system.

You’ll work end‑to‑end across Java services and React interfaces with a global team to measure, improve, and scale performance and fault tolerance in real‑world distributed systems. You’ll build features, agents, and skill files, fix bugs, and drive adoption across technical and business

Qualifications

• Enterprise production experience: shipped inside large organisations and maintained operations.
• Technical depth: debug integrations, stand up a Camunda cluster, explain BPMN to engineers and business leads.
• Stakeholder communication: work across engineering, architecture and business leadership with precision.
• Practical AI experience: used AI to solve real production problems, understands context management and agent testing.
• Comfort with ambiguity: make sound judgments without a playbook and document learnings.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and prove the end-to-end journey from first process file to a running, measurably improving production workflow.
• At 90 days: at least one workflow running, improvement loop active, measurable gains visible to customer.
• At 12 months: 3–5 customers with viable deployments.
• Feed the product: build features, agents, and skill files; fix bugs when found.
• Drive organisational adoption: enable technical and business stakeholders; turn deployments into lasting capability.
• Work at technical depth: configure Camunda clusters, debug integrations, build custom agents.
• Build the playbook: document best practices to speed up future deployments.
• Hand off deliberately: train customer teams to operate independently.
