Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a Vendor & Workforce Operations Lead to build and run the program that manages revenue cycle and payer operations partners across multiple lines. You will source, oversee, and scale third-party partners, owning day-to-day performance and budgets.

You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, InfoSec and Compliance to ensure security and HIPAA standards are met, while driving efficiency through AI-enabled processes. Remote role with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, program management or vendor management, ideally in healthcare operations and/ or a high-growth environment.
• 4+ years of direct experience managing external partnerships, with experience running RFPs and managing a large and growing portfolio of vendor relationships.
• Experience owning a vendor budget or spend, with demonstrable savings or ROI.
• Experience with contract negotiation and SLA design, and vendor risk and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build the vendor and BPO management program from the ground up, including strategy, frameworks and SOPs across revenue cycle operations.
• Act as the main accountability for BPO and vendor partnerships; manage performance, staffing, escalations and reviews.
• Allocate work between internal and BPO teams; adjust volume with changing priorities and seasons.
• Ensure partners meet SLAs, quality standards and contract terms; monitor productivity and cost per transaction.
• Own vendor and BPO budget and spend; forecast and report savings and ROI.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing decisions across RFPs, build/buy/outsource, and renewals based on performance and data.
