Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in underwriting, underwriting operations, insurance product, consulting, or a closely related business function.
• 2+ years of experience working in underwriting workflows: underwriting risk evaluation, underwriting decision-making processes, or supporting the needs of underwriting professionals.
• 2+ years of experience identifying business problems and translating them into workflow, product, process, or technology opportunities.
• Experience working cross-functionally with business, product, and technology teams to evaluate solution options and technical feasibility.
• Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize information, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proven solid communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Proven curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to quickly understand how new capabilities could be applied to underwriting workflows.
• Willing to travel up to 10%
