Optum Insight is seeking an AI and Data Science Strategy Leader for the Crimson AI suite. You will lead cutting-edge AI/ML initiatives, partnering with product and engineering to turn data into actionable insights improving care delivery and health outcomes.

This role offers remote work across the United States, with Minneapolis area in-office requirements of four days per week. You will manage a global team, advance responsible AI practices, and shape the Crimson AI roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science and ML with production models.
• 5+ years leading large-scale data science projects.
• 5+ years programming in Python or R and DL frameworks.
• 3+ years deploying AI/ML in cloud environments.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in data science and AI, driving enterprise-wide innovation.
• Lead design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions in Crimson AI.
• Shape AI strategy by evaluating technologies and defining roadmap.
• Represent Crimson AI to customers and partners with business value.
• Manage global data science team delivering new capabilities.
• Uphold ethical AI with fairness and transparency.
