Job summary

Ropes & Gray LLP is seeking an Senior Applications Developer to design, develop, and maintain AI-enhanced web and database solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem. You will work across IS and business stakeholders to deliver AI-driven automation and agentic workflows, including prompt engineering and LLM integrations.

The role requires strong .NET/C#, REST API, and front-end experience, plus hands-on AI tooling proficiency to accelerate development velocity and ensure secure, scalable software

Qualifications

• 5+ years application development with Microsoft .NET (Core/Framework) and C#
• 2+ years building and consuming REST APIs
• 2+ years HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• 2+ years AI technologies including prompt engineering and LLM integration
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows
• Experience with RAG and semantic search architectures
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks and secure coding practices

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, AI-enabled web and database solutions.
• Design and maintain AI agents and copilot experiences in Copilot Studio.
• Integrate AI services (Azure OpenAI, LLMs) into enterprise apps.
• Prepare technical specs, design docs, and test plans.
• Collaborate with IS, QA, product teams, and vendors.
