Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote and flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, and explain deductions in writing from home or while traveling.

The work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and learn, contributing to real-world performance improvements. Candidates can earn up to $18/hr with additional Missions incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos, judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Write English explanations pointing to what you saw or heard that were off.
