Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, English-speaking evaluators to review AI-generated media. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video outputs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

You'll rate outputs for adherence, quality and realism, and provide written explanations in English. This is a flexible, remote role with weekly payments and up to $18/hour plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in natural speech.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy or audio that doesn’t match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
