CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to help promote governance practices for AI, genAI, and model risk across the enterprise. You will maintain model inventories, assess risk, and collaborate with risk, compliance, and IT teams to close gaps.

This remote role supports US-wide operations with a focus on regulatory readiness and policy adoption, working in a flexible, inclusive environment that values clear communication and responsible AI governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in model risk management, risk, or audit.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, information management, data science, or related field.
• Experience in AI model governance and risk management.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies and awareness across the enterprise.
• Maintain inventory of models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk by complexity, regulations, and usage.
• Support validation, testing, and governance audits.
• Develop metrics and executive insights on model risk.
• Collaborate with risk, auditors, and external partners.
• Monitor compliance with policies and standards.
• Identify opportunities to automate governance processes.
