Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Model Risk Advisor working remotely in the United States. The role focuses on promoting AI governance, maintaining model inventories, and assessing risks across AI models and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field.
• Four years of work experience in AI Model governance, Model Risk Management, or Audit, information management can be substituted in lieu of a degree in addition to the minimum years of work experience.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Ability to independently author and communicate technical and business information related to AI Model governance.
• Experience deploying AI Model governance and risk programs across a large enterprise.
• AI Model Governance policy, standard, controls establishment, enforcement, and monitoring.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI governance principles, ethics, regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Promote effective governance practices and adopt AI policies and standards framework.
• Streamline governance processes and identify insights to close compliance gaps.
• Engage with the enterprise AI community to promote awareness and adoption of governance policies.
• Establish and maintain inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and usage.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation and testing activities and communicate findings.
• Participate in AI Model Governance oversight activities and audits.
• Develop reporting and executive-level insights on AI governance and risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams, risk, auditors, and suppliers to maintain governance documentation.
• Monitor evolving regulatory expectations related to AI and model risk.
