Ethos, a London-founded AI tooling company, is seeking experienced software developers to help train an advanced language model on professional documents, sheets, and slide decks. The role is fully remote with flexible scheduling, targeting 5–20 hours per week and an $80/hr rate.

We require 4+ years in software/data/AI roles, plus strong ability to document design tradeoffs, data pipelines, and model readiness while communicating clearly to engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

Formación

• 4+ years as software engineer, data engineer, or AI/ML practitioner writing design docs or API specs.
• Experience evaluating model outputs or system readiness and documenting tradeoffs for engineers.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Create technical design documents and architecture decision records.
• Document data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Produce model evaluation and AI system readiness reports.
• Write API specifications and integration guides.
• Develop data quality tests and validation plans.
• Create developer onboarding guides and system diagrams.
