Prolific Academic Ltd seeks an AI & Machine Learning Engineer for AI Training to join our Expert Network. You’ll help train and evaluate next-gen LLMs, undergo a brief skills test, and potentially join as a paid participant.

The role emphasizes deep learning, prompt engineering, and assisting with RLHF and RAG workflows. Pay scales with expert hours, and tasks are performed remotely with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/AI/Robotics or related quantitative field with ML focus.
• Experience building, deploying, or fine-tuning ML models in production.
• Deep learning mastery of neural networks (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs).
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering and RLHF workflows.
• Ability to audit model logic and analyze training data integrity.
• Strong attention to detail in detecting hallucinations and biases.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate architecture logic and technical accuracy of model explanations.
• Audit ML code and notebooks for efficiency and correctness.
• Refine RLHF frameworks and gather high-quality human feedback.
• Analyze model reasoning in chain-of-thought prompts.
• Benchmark model outputs across technical taxonomies and metrics.
