Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join the Physical AI team, combining technical ML development with mission-focused outcomes for national security. You will design and deploy production ML systems, integrate Azure OpenAI and RAG techniques, and collaborate with a prototyping team to translate real-world needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing AI/ML or advanced analytics solutions.
• Proficiency with Python and ML libraries, deploying production ML systems.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks, LLM integrations, Azure OpenAI, or RAG architectures.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain Azure-based data/ML pipelines and scalable cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Support prototyping efforts by evaluating and integrating new AI technologies for the client’s mission.
• Design and develop tools and capabilities, evolving them with advanced technology solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Translate real-world needs into technical specifications and clear requirements for engineers.
