Job summary

Prolific is seeking AI & Machine Learning Engineers to join our Expert Network to train and evaluate next-gen LLMs. You will complete a skills test and contribute to high‑quality human feedback used to align models with human intent and safety.

Researchers may pay up to $80 per hour for tasks requiring one hour of uninterrupted work, with many tasks shorter. Flexible hours and the ability to work from home are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Education: BS, MS or PhD in CS/AI/Robotics or related field with ML focus.
• Experience building, deploying, or fine-tuning ML models in production.
• Deep learning mastery with transformers, CNNs, RNNs.
• Hands-on with Prompt Engineering, RLHF, or RAG workflows.
• Ability to audit model logic, data contamination, and proofs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM architecture logic and technical accuracy.
• Audit ML code and notebooks for efficiency and correctness.
• Refine RLHF frameworks with high-quality human feedback.
• Analyze model reasoning and identify CoT failure points.
• Benchmark model outputs using technical taxonomies and metrics.
