Job summary

Prolific is seeking AI & Machine Learning Engineers to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate the next generation of LLMs with deep technical expertise. A quick 10–15 minute test may be required to assess fit for paid AI tasks.

Researchers paying up to $80 per hour for dedicated work. If successful, you’ll be invited to join Prolific as a participant, where you’ll be paid to train and evaluate powerful AI models from anywhere in the United States with flexible hours and remote work

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/AI/Robotics with ML focus.
• Experience building, deploying, or fine-tuning ML models in production.
• Neural architectures (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs) and optimization mastery.
• Hands-on Prompt Engineering, RLHF, or RAG workflows.
• Audit of complex model logic, data contamination detection, and ML proofs.
• Attention to detail to spot hallucinations, biased outputs, or reasoning failures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate LLM Architecture Logic with technical precision.
• Audit ML code and notebooks for efficiency and correctness.
• Refine RLHF frameworks with high-quality human feedback.
• Analyze model reasoning and identify CoT failures.
• Benchmark model outputs using defined technical taxonomies and metrics.
