Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking an experienced AI Delivery Manager to oversee delivery of AI/ML and GenAI programs for enterprise clients in NYC. You will lead global delivery, manage multi-million dollar portfolios, and drive AI transformation from concept to production.

The role demands 10–15 years in delivery and program management, strong stakeholder engagement, and hands-on guidance across data platforms, MLOps, and cloud platforms. Onsite in NYC with senior leadership interaction.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in delivery and program management.
• Proven success in managing large-scale enterprise programs.
• Practical experience with AI/ML/GenAI projects for at least 1 to 3 years.
• Strong expertise in: global delivery models, stakeholder management, budget oversight and portfolio ownership.
• Background in data platforms or managing large-scale enterprise systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete delivery lifecycle of AI/ML and GenAI programs, from ideation and proof of concept through to production deployment.
• Coordinate multiple AI projects, including: LLM applications (RAG, agents, copilots); deployment of data science and machine learning models; AI-driven automation and business transformation initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule with high quality and cost-effectiveness throughout engagements.
• Serve as trusted advisor to enterprise clients, collaborate with CTO/CIO/Product Heads to establish AI strategies and roadmaps, and drive account growth.
• Lead distributed and global teams of engineering, data science, and product professionals; implement governance, KPIs, and reporting; ensure Agile/Scrum practices.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned AI Delivery Manager to oversee the complete delivery lifecycle of AI/ML and GenAI-driven projects for enterprise clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong experience in global delivery leadership, managing large-scale programs, and direct involvement with AI/ML/GenAI initiatives. This position demands a combination of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and exceptional execution skills, emphasizing the ability to scale AI solutions from proof‑of‑concept to full production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

AI Program Delivery

• Oversee the complete delivery lifecycle of AI/ML and GenAI programs, from initial ideation and proof of concept through to production deployment
• Coordinate multiple AI projects, including:

• Ensure compliance with Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices

AI & Technology Leadership

• Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams on:
  • Model development lifecycles
  • MLOps and deployment strategies
  • Data pipeline management and cloud infrastructure
• Promote adoption of:
  • Generative AI tools (such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, etc.)
  • Cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Offer guidance on AI system solution architecture

Transformation & Innovation

• Lead initiatives driving AI‑based digital transformation
• Identify opportunities to:
  • Automate legacy systems
  • Enhance efficiency through AI technologies
