Qualifications

• Degree and 8+ years of experience in data science or AI fields.
• Experience building, evaluating, and deploying ML models.
• Strong Python/SQL and ML framework proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and evaluate AI/ML solutions for Coast Guard missions.
• Build predictive, prescriptive, classification, and NLP models.
• Develop, train, tune, and validate ML models to improve decision-making.
• Support MVPs, demonstrations, automation pilots, and rapid experimentation.
• Assess models for accuracy, bias, and operational suitability.
• Create dashboards and analytics products supporting enterprise transformation.
