Job summary

Leidos seeks Senior AI Engineers in our Intel Sector to advance mission-critical AI/ML capabilities using state-of-the-art techniques across data processing, knowledge extraction, and decision support. You will contribute to end-to-end AI lifecycles, including secure deployment and sustainment, with emphasis on multilingual data and scalable architectures.

The role requires collaboration with mission stakeholders and engineers to translate complex needs into robust AI solutions, including LLMs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, plus 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency with Python and demonstrated experience designing or developing AI/ML solutions.
• Understanding the complete AI lifecycle from data ingestion and model development through deployment, monitoring, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Mission Focus: Translate operational challenges into AI/ML solutions with stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Design, develop, test, and optimize AI/ML applications in Python and modern frameworks.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
• Desirable Skills: Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector search, and knowledge retrieval systems.
