Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score outputs for naturalness and accuracy, and explain in writing what looked off, from home or while traveling.

Responsibilities include comparing image and video pairs, identifying issues such as artifacts or misalignment, and providing concise, evidence-based explanations. This is remote and pay varies by project.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with natural everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with patience to look and listen closely and replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and articulating reasoning aloud in realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or audio-video misalignment.
• Writing specific explanations in English tied to observed issues.
