Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with an AI voice model, rank how natural and useful each response is, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As part of our evaluation loop, you will compare AI-generated images and videos to prompts, describe where outputs diverge from expectations, and help improve how frontier AI systems reason and respond.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining realistic situations.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a specific English explanation of what you saw or heard.
