Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media entirely remotely with a flexible schedule. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models and compare image and video pairs, explaining what looks or sounds off and how the prompts were followed.

You’ll assess realism, detect issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video misalignment, and provide concise explanations in writing to guide system improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication and comfortable with everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each interaction sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely for distortions, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs on adherence, quality, and realism and writing concise explanations.
