Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from home on a flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain what looked or sounded off in writing.

Your work helps shape how AI systems learn and improve in real-world settings. Responsibilities include comparing AI-generated media to prompts, identifying issues, and rating outputs across usefulness, quality, and realism.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging alignment with prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming in, replay) to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise explanation in English that points to what was seen or heard.
