Job summary

Outlier seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Work from home or while traveling with flexible hours. Earn up to $15 USD/hr plus incentives, and enjoy free access to leading LLMs worth $200+/month to support your evaluations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something looks off.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is nice to have but not always required.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain choices clearly when both options have flaws.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable working independently with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely and spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and misaligned audio.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific English explanation.
