Outlier seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, rate outputs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off. This remote, flexible role lets you work from home or while traveling on your schedule.

Contributors help shape how AI systems reason and improve, supporting frontier research and practical real-world performance. Earn up to $18/hr with additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and ability to articulate observations.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in to verify issues.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Bachelor's degree or higher is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos to determine which better follows prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to identify distortions, flickering, text or audio mismatches.
• Write specific English explanations detailing what was observed or heard.
